Monk Bonk
Summer ’15

For Ludum Dare 32, a 72 hour game-making competition, a small team of friends and I made Monk Bonk. You're a scepter-wielding priest, who bops along happily through life. You can convert the pious townspeople by bopping them on the head or by sprinkling them with healing, holy water. You have to act fast though, once rapture comes the unconverted towns-people turn into a demon horde and battle your converted followers. The theme of the competition was “unusual weapon” so we chose religion. I worked on game and mechanic design, sound design, and programming / linking up model assets with animations, effects, and sounds.
